Authentic re-enactment can add a brilliant dimension to your heritage projects and events. We work as fully researched period characters or specific historic individuals, in full costume and conversationally accurate guise that you can depend on to be interesting, engaging and historically informative for your audience.

No matter what period your project is set in, we can authentically match ourselves to it. Our previous incarnations include:

Roman soldier
Edwardian couple
Victorian couple, Victorian station master
Prohibition gangster and moll
A variety of WW1 and WW2 soldiers and significant characters
Specific characters such as Poirot, Shakespeare, Miss Havisham, George Washington, Dr Watson or suffragette

How it Works

We plan in detail how to exactly meet your requirements in terms of period, costumes, characters or site-specific individuals.
We agree a timing plan for your event and stay fully in character the whole time.
Our characters are authentic in the detail of the costume, behaviour and knowledge of the period. We will converse with your visitors fully informed with the issues and debates of the day so that our interactions are historically accurate and educational (and we never talk about anything beyond the period or range of understanding we are re-enacting – no gossip about football or Facebook!).
We provide all our own costumes, accessories and set dressing.
We are DBS checked, Equity Registered, and carry Public Liability Insurance up to £10,000,000.

Carvo the Roman Soldier

Seasoned fighter Carvo – one of the Batavian Auxiliary to the Roman Legions. These warriors were the engine room of the Roman Army. He has seen hard service throughout Roman Britain – from Trimontium, Arbeia and Hadrian’s Wall in the North, to Vectis in the South.

Roman Trader

Roman Trader travelling around the Roman Empire, forming the backbone of Rome's wealth. He has many and varied tales to tell from his life on the road.
